Sub-series 1.2: Personal papers, 1839-1959

Sub-series 1.2 contains documents from various aspects of Sir Clive and Lady McPherson's lives before and after their marriage. It includes official documents such as early baptism certificates, confirmation extracts, birth and death certificates, and insurance policies; certificates relating to other family members; notes and documents relating to the running of domestic arrangements at the family’s rural properties; a scrapbook; letters and notebooks; and other ephemera items or general papers.
