New hotel at Clifton Hill for Mrs. J. Anderson, [1889]

Not dated or signed but but tender notices, 1889, see the Collingwood Historical Society's web site. Sheets 1 and 2 have watercolour applied to the verso and are stained. The original name of the hotel appears on the entablature on the elevations: Andersons Station Family Hotel. The hotel, now called the Royal, is located at the corner of Spensley and Berry Streets, Clifton Hill. The drawings show a three-storey hotel with corner entrance and tower with bell cast roof, the latter was not built.
