The Company wishes not to be concerned with the purchase of vessels to accompany the ships to Port Phillip. Connolly still awaiting the arrival of Batman at Launceston. He will call on the Association for a further ₤15 per share.

Connolly has inspected the "Norval", and is expecting the arrival of the "Adelaide". There should be no delay with customs, as the vessels are carrying only stock and provisions.

Batman and Fergusson are both in George Town, having come over on the '"Norval". Batman is said to look after, and provide yards for, the ship. The "Adelaide" has arrived in George Town, Swanston will be kept up to date on the progress of the "Goliath".

An account sent for supplies for Port Phillip Company. Swanston asked to deposit, in favour of other investors, more money. Swanston informed of latest despatch of stores organized by Batman. Transactions have taken place in England, "which were rather unceremonious towards the proprietors here". A public meeting has been arranged on 18 [November?], for tem to air their views.

Despatch arrangements between Connolly and Swanston. Batman has sent 500 shepp to George Town for the "Adelaide"; Swanston's sheep to go over on the "Norval". Connolly is to endeavour to get 50 ewes for Swanston, also to go over on the "Norval". Offers to pay ₤296 for the first months charter.
