General note

The Victorian State Government refused to conduct an environmental impact assessment of the effects of holding the Grand Prix at the Albert Park Reserve. The Government subsequently enacted the Australian Grand Prix Act 1994, in order to exempt the event from the Environment Effects Act, 1978.

This file includes documents relating to the SAP September, 1994, challenge to the Victorian Government against this exemption.
