Subseries 9 : Iain Stewart., 1993 - 1997

Iain Stewart was the Chair of the Meeting held on 24 February, 1994, which established 'Save Albert Park' as the name of the Group. There were 2 earlier public meetings held on 6 and 20 February, followed by meetings of members sometime in May that year, 7 June, 1994 and 5 July, 1994. It was not until 11 August, 1994, that the Executive and Council, meeting for the first time and at a combined meeting, nominated Iain Stewart for the Executive and for the first Convenor. During this first 5 month period, Iain is sometimes referred to as the Co-Convenor, as during this period he shared this task with Geraldine Crawford.
