Scope and contents

This album has several photographs relating to Sidney Nolan, e.g. his exhibition in the window of Sheffield's newsagency in Heidelberg, his photograph of the wreck, "Maheno", the ballet "Icare" for which Nolan did the design work, Nolan's first wife, Elizabeth. Other names mentioned in photographs in this album: Max Harris, Mirka (Mora), Nadine Amadio, Gabrielle Sunday Saunders (daughter of Nadine Amadio), Jamie Murdoch, Ray Price, Ryder Maxwell Grindle, Barrett Reid and Barbara Patterson.
