It was produced by Women's Abortion Action Campaign (WAAC), which was a coalition of Women's Liberation Movement (WLM), Women's Electoral Lobby (WEL) and Abortion Law Repeal Association (ALRA). WAAC organised actions, publications and lobbied for abortion on demand; freely available and safe contraceptives; the repeal of anti-abortion laws; women's rights over their own bodies; and sex education in schools.
