Black and white photographic prints and negatives, circa 1950-1990

The bulk of the photographs are from around 1950-1969, although many are undated. Included are professional media photographs from papers or magazines such as The Age, The Argus and The Australian Women's Weekly of social events and formal occasions. Some of the people featured are Sir Dallas and Lady Violet Brooks (and daughter Jeanette Brooks) and images from one of the Royal Visits. Also included are photographs from Marion and Dr. Julian Orm Smith's wedding (1961); Gytha Betheras' wedding (including photocopies of some photographs); unidentified weddings; and a couple of later photographs of Marion Page (circa 1980-1989). Original envelopes and notes have been kept in the folder with the relevant photographs.
