Includes miscellaneous early photographs and negatives that appear to be Sidney McPherson's. Contains images of the building and gardens at Boomanoomana; rural landscapes; men in fields; people swimming on a lake [potentially Lake Mulwala]; exteriors of a brick house and garden and children playing in the garden; exteriors of a weatherboard house, a backyard cricket match, children on a horse, large group portraits and informal images of people on the verandah or grounds of the house; people around the fountain at Boomanoomana, including Marion and her parents, small groups of people seated or standing in the garden (some with dogs); family photographs – including men in World War I uniforms; photographs from trips, including Tasmania with Marion and her friends, buildings on the beach, and a manor house and gardens; an image of a Red Cross Rest Room (two storey building); group portraits; boats; people swimming; gardens; people playing in a creek; horses; a panoramic view of a large country house and grounds; images of livestock and Australian animals – cattle, sheep, kangaroo, and emu; images of a ship about to sail; portraits of a young man in uniform and a young woman in a nurse’s uniform.
