Webley "British Bulldog" Revolver, circa 1870-1898

Scope and contents

Produced by P. Webley & Son, Birmingham. Five shot revolver, 32 calibre. Frame is stamped on the left side with 'WEBLEY'S No. 2 320 CF', the Webley winged bullet trade mark, and the serial number: 64043. Includes a leather holster with the initials C. McP, which is substantially larger than the revolver, and a disassembled cleaning rod in a cloth bag. According to the corresponding documentation in BOX 41/8, the revolver was inherited by Marion and originally belonged to her grandfather, William George McPherson.
