Scope and contents

Khaki fur felt hat with beige hatband from Marion's Women's Auxiliary Australian Air Force (W.A.A.A.F) tropical/summer dress uniform. Attached to one side of the hatband is a dark blue, light blue, and maroon striped ribbon. '174660 McPherson M.O.' is written on the sweatband in the interior of the hat alongside another name and service number that are both crossed out and now illegible. The sweatband on the interior is dated '1942'.
