The collection of 65 projects includes landscape drawings for: Pelican, Robin Boyd's house for Mr & Mrs Kenneth Myer at Daveys Bay, 1956-57; 24 Hill Street Toorak Roy Grounds own house, 1954; the ICI building Albert Street East Melbourne,1958; Royal Childrens Hospital, Parkville 1959-1962; Eta Foods Factory Braybrook, 1957; Bruck Mills Wangaratta, 1954; Consolidated Zinc building Collins Street, 1960-1962; University of Melbourne, 1953-1962; Monash Unviersity, 1958-1962; and many private gardens.

Biographical / Historical
John Stevens studied Horticulture at Burnley Horticultural College in 1938 followed by Agricultural Science at the University of Melbourne in 1949. He worked with landscape architect Emily Gibson on industrial projects in Victoria such as oil refineries in Altona and Geelong.
