Lot 11 Tyalla Cres, Toorak for Mr and Mrs L. Shaw, [between 1958 and 1959

The drawings show a two-storey three-bedroom house on a sloping site at 2 Tyalla Crescent, Toorak designed in the modernist style with flat roof and feature walls clad in rough Castlemaine Rock. The main living and bedroom areas are on the upper level with garage and hobby areas below. The front elevation has a balcony outside the living room with a balustrade over an open garage. There are horizontal timber louvres beneath the window on the projecting wing. The project contains extensively detailed timber screens, bookshelves and cupboard joinery, planters and fencing. Building extant August 2014.
