File — drawer: LTAD 234 DRAWER 33.27.10
Identifier(s): LTAD 234/175
Scope and contents
Copies are of the original diazotype 1885 Wardell and Vernon drawings for the residence for Sir W.J. Clarke Bart (LTAD 137). The W and R Butler drawing is a copy of an existing floor plan of Cliveden - traced/copied by the office of Best Overend. The Best Overend drawing dated 1956 is a ground floor plan of a hotel (may be proposal as the eventual hotel on the site was built in the early 1970's but can't confirm). Contains a note commenting on the return of the originals, from which the copies were made, to the Cliveden mansion 20th January 1956.
