Series 10: Transparencies of artworks, 1989 - 2000
Scope and contents
There are 183 transparencies of Vali Myers artworks and drawings with original envelopes retained that detail the names of the owners of the drawings. The names of owners of the artworks is confidential information.
The transparencies are numbered H2018.466/1-125, H2021.85/1-57, H2018.466/173, located at LTFBN 377 and contain some duplicate images in both medium format and large format transparencies of the same artwork.
The original envelopes written in Vali’s hand with meticulous notes recording the title, medium, size and address of the owners, have been retained and are located at PICINDEX 42. There are duplicate copies of some images and transparencies of different sizes in each set.
This consists of 4 sets of transparencies from the Archive of Vali Myers.

H2018.466/125 is an overhead (?) of ‘Passions’ for an exhibition at Dangerfield

The original envelopes written in Vali’s hand with meticulous notes recording the title, medium, size and address of the owners, have been retained and are located at PICINDEX 42. There are duplicate copies of some images and transparencies of different sizes. These show the careful recordkeeping of her artwork.
The slide series also includes some reproductions of her artworks. There is also a transparency of Vali Myers at the Chelsea Hotel, New York taken by Carol Beckwith H2021.85/57 (see also postcards at H2021.90/25-26) and a Portrait of Vali Myers by Francesco Scavullo for the cover of ‘Zoom magazine’, August 1971 H2021.85/56.
