Reproduced and described by Vali Myers in 'Vali Myers Drawings 1949-79, London, Open House, 1980' p. 80-81: 'This drawing was begun at the time of the Yom Kippur War '73 and is dedicated to Golda Meir then Prime Minister of Israel. She is one of the people I most admire in my life and is like a spiritual Mother for me. She had everything, courage, endurance, honesty, and humour, and though I never met her I loved her with all my heart'. Also reproduced in 'Between the dusk and the dawn', p. 81.
