Brass bed belonging to Vali Myers, [between 1900-1940?]

Brass bed belonging to Vali Myers, from her Studio in the Nicholas Building, Swanston Street, Melbourne. The brass bed consists of two parts, the headboard and footboard. The headboard and footboard are made of copper alloy. There are steel bolts on the headboard. Conservation treatment of the Vali Myer’s bed head and foot was undertaken in May 2021. The report is held in the Provenance File. There is a patch of pink paint the same colour as the walls of the studio located lower down on the 2nd rail on the left of the footboard.
