Described by Vali Myers in 'Vali Myers: Drawings: 1949-79', London, Open House, 1980, p. 114-115: 'A white Lubra dreaming in the desert, holds her spirit-fox in her arms. Everything is hot and golden, flaming like the dun. Far away is the small figure of a man swinging a bullroarer-Kunapipi, the Great Mother was killed by a man, Eaglehawk. As she died she cried out and her sound entered every tree. Eaglehawk cut a bullroarer from a tree and in swinging it gave back her cry,'mumuna'. This is her secret name.' Australian aborigine legend.'
