Sierakowski House, 1954

This house is extant at 11 Calvert Street, Bairnsdale, and protected by a heritage overlay in the East Gippsland Shire Planning Scheme. Lloyd Sierakowski was the licensee of the Orient Hotel, Main Street, Bairnsdale. The house is described and comparatively analysed in Richard Peterson, Town of Bairnsdale, Urban Conservation Study, 3 Vols (1989), as the first of 8 applications by the McIntyres of this structural system.
