Scope and contents A parcel labelled “1939” contained odd issues from 1939-1940, 1943 and 1945, out of order and generally in poor condition – tattered at edges, worn or torn at folds and in a couple of cases mutilated. Other parcels contained issues of 1942, etc. These have been removed from their brown paper parcels, put in order with gaps noted and placed in acid-free folders.
