Scope and contents
Collection of 198 glass slides, principally containing images of Methodist and Uniting churches in Melbourne, Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat and regional Victorian locations such as Avoca, Maryborough, Tarangulla, Dunolly, Maldon Jeparit and Dimboola. The collection also contains some images of monuments, schools and other buildings, mostly within Victoria, but some overseas locations (England and Fiji), images of religious text and illustrations, and portraits of predominantly English figures related to the Methodist church. Also includes original timber box that housed some of the lantern slides (held at F BOX 4975).
