Scope and contents
First of seven farm diaries kept by Mrs. Currie. The diary contains handwritten accounts of life and work on family farms at Ballan 1873-1875, and Lardner 1875-1979. Entries until 1873 October written by John Currie and refer to Catherine as Kate or Katie. Includes certificate of a child being sufficiently educated for Albert Currie (1885 September 29) and Catherine Currie (28 February? 1879).
