General note

Enclosing note of introduction given to Bickmore by the Consul General, and hopes that Barry will visit the Museum when next in New York. Bickmore met Mr. Davenport and Mr. Morris at the Exhibition.

The speciemens of minerals and ores which were to be sent to the Smithsonian Institute for distribution, preferably to Washington first, are now being sent to New York for reasons which Bickmore hopes to explain when he meets Barry. Going to Philadelphia soon. (2 pages. Notes in Barry's hand on back)
