General note

Has not written for some time as he hoped Barry might come overseas. The closing down of some mercantile and banking interests threatened. Wheat fell in price. St. Leger worried about the sale of his property in Australia. The India mutiny which was facilitated by leaving the Bengal Army in important Garrisons. Larry Corban died. (6 pages)
