Has been searching for works of art for the Melbourne Gallery, and is leaving for a tour of European studios. Description of sculptures and paintings currently being sold at Christie's. Edwin Long's painting of the Spanish Inquisition, of which he has agreed to make a copy for Melbourne. Favourable comment on Graham's "Autumnal Showers" purchased for the gallery. (6 pages)
