General note

Addressed, Melbourne Public Library. Seven cases of works of art arrived by the Flying Cloud. Very pleased and will send a list of omissions and breakages.

Hopes that the remaining money will be expended, and more objects sent, so as to impress on the government the lack of space for the display of these objects in order to obtain an addition to the present.

Enclosing copies of the Governor's speech on the opening of the museum.
