Address: H.M. Gaol, Melbourne. 2 pp.ms. on the prison’s note paper. Thanks her for her kindness during the past 4 months. Asks her not to grieve for her. Asks her to be as good a friend to Otto as she has been to her. Bids her last farewell. Also enclosed is an 8-line verse of "I, my cross have taken".
