Australian periodicals only read by old colonists or those who have visited Australia. Mackinnon's new journal, to be successful, must be built on an Australian cornerstone. Would like to see the prospectus. Has received copies of the popular edition of His Natural Life. Preparations for election. Hopes to visit Australia and New Zealand. (3 pages)
