Note:

Title from inscription by Walter Cass on back. John Edwin Sergeant (Queen's South Africa Medal & 3 Clasps, Mentioned in despatches), 8th Battalion, AIF, was killed in action on Bolton's Ridge, southern Anzac, on 25 April 1915, aged 46. His grave was at Shell Green cemetery.
