Letter from Walter Cass to Helena Holmes, 1916 October 11

He discusses wedding plans and mentions receiving letters from Australia. He speaks of Bruche and having invited him to the wedding, 'I've not had an answer from Bruche yet altho' before I saw him yesterday I wrote him a note asking him definitely was he coming to town. Told him he had started me off on my military career and I wanted him to hold my hand in beginning this new phase of life. He seemed uncertain of his movements as he did not quite know when the featherless general would be leaving.' He mentions a Major Campbell and his wife.
