He is at Lark Hill. Helena is now at King's Canadian Red Cross Special Hospital, Bushy Park, having moved from Margate. Walter 'had a tentative offer of a battalion in the 3rd division but wasn't taking any just now. If they offer me a brigade there will be a "hurry up" marriage somewhere or other.' He discusses a short holiday that he and Helena had in Richmond on Wednesday and Thursday (13-14 September).
