He mentions that he talked to General and Lady Moore and was invited to have dinner with them after the General attended a church parade. The General told Walter that 'he had received from Anzac a letter concerning me, saying some very nice things and asking that I might be well looked after and that he replied stating his desire is to put me in charge of a "group".'
