He has arrived at Lark Hill Camp from Tidworth. He is in 'C' Group at Camp 29. He is to command the 6th Battalion for four days as the Commanding Officer has gone on leave. He mentions that Captain (Sir Julius Henry) Bruche and General Sir Newton (James) Moore are taking every care of him.
