He is in Egypt. He has been appointed a Companion of St Michael and St George (C.M.G.). He mentions two Canadian hospitals on Lemnos. He mentions that he had 18 days of 'quiet rest' in a hospital in February, and that General Birdwood visited him there. He has moved to command of the 54th Battalion of the 5th Australian Division.
