Note in file “Legal: Teachers 1977-1983”. Correspondence of a group of teachers with J. Maynes, John McKenna, concerning costs relating to recent involvement with court actions, which they believe is a Show responsibility but was unauthorised by B.A.S. (they were encouraged by another). B.A.S. regards it as not a legal or moral responsibility of the organization, but to preserve its good name will pay 20,000, Queensbery St. (responsible for encouraging them and rejecting National Executive Policy) to pay 12,000 to be deducted from allowance.
