Spiritual Basis, 1943. So labelled, this contains also an item headed 1942. As the contents relate to a conference in 1942 and convention in 1943, a talk by B.A.S. at the latter, found separately, has been added to this file.

N.C.R.M. Retreat, Melbourne, 1942

Typed 1 p. outline of 5 talks Henschke has given at the retreat preceding a conference on rural problems [torn at foot]. [Found loose and brought to this file] “Bishop Henschke’s First Lecture”; “Second Lecture”, “Third Talk” [according to the outline above this was an explanation of the Mass, but this text deals with the subjects of the Fourth Talk according to the outline, “Confession and Communion”; in B.A.S.’s hand headed “4th Lecture – 7 p.m.”, his notes of the “Final Talk” on Family Life.

Plan of Spiritual Campaigns: the first, Ash Wednesday to Easter, is headed in ms. “N.C.R.M. Chaplain No.1. 1943. This list to follow article 1 ‘The Land and the Liturgy’ (Please Return)”; The Campaigns, 1-6, consist of programs of meetings with talks listed here, and a prescribed public action.
